Our Story

The story of POLINESIA begins with a traveler who discovered a minor inconvenience during his global journeys. The hassle of carrying around a bulky beach towel.

It was, on a beach that he had a realization when he saw two women wearing unflattering beach ponchos. Inspired by this, he envisioned a lightweight and visually appealing alternative to traditional beachwear.

Driven by his passion for simplicity and sophistication he set out on a mission to create something a fusion of elegance that had not yet been seen on the shores. Finally in 2021 this vision became a reality with the birth of POLINESIA. Since then it has become a brand in Australia and, beyond.
